CONGRATS TO: CAROLINA MUD
DOGS, Winner of the 2003 PT Fantasy Football Superbowl
Congratulations to Regular
Season Champion Jurocks!
See the 2003 Season

|
The PT Sinfonian League is sorry
to see the Mint Hill Mafia (Rank 6, 2003), and Singing Penguins (Rank
9, 2003) fall by the way-side for the 2004 season. Both teams have been
dismantled until further notice.
|
This season
the Mountaineers have been changed to The Gremlins, the Gorillaz
have been changed to The Lone Rangers, and the Winkler's Creek Blaze
has changed to Pepperstone Pyros

League Notes:

WEEK 6: PTL Announcements for Week 7
|
|
|
|
|
#4 Lone Rangers
vs. #5 Ossian's Ghost
|
#1 Gremlins vs.
#11 Prodigious Drummers
|
#6 HP Lampshades
over #2 Onyx
|
Week 6: Even though the Gremlins
are 6-0 and #1 in the standings.... They have only won two
Special Awards. In week 2 for #1 QB & #1 DEF Player.
Guess you don't need stars to win consistently.
Week 6: The PTL record for
wins is 8 in a row made by the Jurocks in 2003. They went
8-0 for the first eight weeks until they finally lost to
the HP Lampshades in Week 9.

Pre-Game Note: The Pepperstone Pyros are
17.42 Point underdogs
Game Notes: The Pyros came out of the
gates hard in this game, showing that their offense was
not to be taken lightly. Once thought of as a "bye-week"
team the pyros far surpassed the scores of Brad's Ballers.
Game Notes: With a defensive score of 16.50 and a total
score of only 55.25, the Ballers might now be considered
the "bye-week" team of the league.

Pre-Game Note: The HP Lampshades are 5.92 Point Underdogs
Pre-Game Note: This
Pre-Game Note: This game has been awarded the TOBIAS'
COOL HAND LUKE UNDERDOG OF THE WEEK AWARD
Pre-Game Note: The HP Lampshades are on
a roll. If they would have played the Onyx for the past
4 weeks, they would have won 3 out of 4 times. That is
why they are picked as an upset win.
Game Note: Well, the prediction turned
out to be false. The offense of the Lampshades failed
to show up. Two players scored 0 and the QB was in the
negative.
Game Note: This win puts the Onyx back into first place
after seeing the Gremlins lose to #11 the Prodigious Drummers.
Game Note: The coach of the Onyx was heard to say "So
let's see.... It's 6am in Boone... I hate Dr. Yoder Bitch.
Sam could lose. So could the undefeated Gremlins. And
I am beating Opie..... by 70.... oh yeah.... and Randy
Moss was hurt Sunday... Boo Yah!!!!!!!!"
Game Note: The Onyx broke a PTL record for Best Overall
Defense in a game, scoring 77.5 points.

Pre-Game Note: The Prodigious Drummers are 28.46 Point
underdogs
Pre-Game Note: This game has been awarded the JACKSON'S
UGLY GAME OF THE WEEK.
Pre-Game Note: Looks like the Gremlins
will extend their winning streak to 6. The Drummers have
yet to have a weekly score higher than the PTL leader
Game Note: The game turned ugly, not for
the Drummers, but for the unbeaten Gremlins. One players,
Priest Holmes, on the Drummers roster beat the #1 team.
He scored 4 touchdowns keeping the win from the yellow
and black.
Game Note: The coach of the Gremlins was heard to say,
"Who would have thought that he would have scored
4 TDs?!?!?!?! Who would have thought that the Minnesota
Def. would score 24 points?!?!?!? Oh well, my luck had
to run out sometime. Stranger things have happened. Like
the Mississippi State/Florida game on Saturday?? "
Game Note: Priest Holmes, RB for the Prodigious Drummers
broke a PTL league record for scoring 28 points in a game.

Pre-Game Note: Ossian's Ghost is 3.54 Point underdogs
Pre-Game Note: This game has been awarded the GORA'S SMOKING
HOT GAME OF THE WEEK.
Game Note: Finally a game that lived up
to its billing. With a final spread of only 1.25, the
Lone Rangers keep their winning streak of 4 intact. This
loss now puts the #5 Ghosts tied at 4-3 with the Jurocks
and HP Lampshades.
Game Note: What an incredible offensive shoot out! It's
rare to see two teams score over 70 points in one game.
