SUPER BOWL

CONGRATS TO: CAROLINA MUD DOGS, Winner of the 2003 PT Fantasy Football Superbowl

Congratulations to Regular Season Champion Jurocks!

See the 2003 Season

The PT Sinfonian League is sorry to see the Mint Hill Mafia (Rank 6, 2003), and Singing Penguins (Rank 9, 2003) fall by the way-side for the 2004 season. Both teams have been dismantled until further notice.

This season the Mountaineers have been changed to The Gremlins, the Gorillaz have been changed to The Lone Rangers, and the Winkler's Creek Blaze has changed to Pepperstone Pyros

WEEK 13: PTL Announcements for Week 14

#10 Pepperstone Pyros vs. #9 Carolina Mud Dogs
#1 Lone Rangers vs. #2 Onyx
#7 Ossian's Ghost over #6 Goo Crew

5 TEAMS, THREE SPOTS, WELCOME TO THE PTL

MY GOD! You should check out some of the match-ups this week. Several games pit two teams on the playoff bubble against each other.... Might get ugly!

Look for 3 very important games this week. Pyros vs. Mud Dogs (loser is out of post-season), Ghosts vs. Goo Crew, (winner moves on, loser depends on Ballers) & HP Lampshades vs. Ballers. (if ballers lose they are out of post-season)

The Onyx still maintained their #1 Strength of Schedule. Last year's hardest schedule only got to a total of 78.9. This year every single team has a average opponent score of over 96 points.

Pre-Game Note: The Gremlins are 8.73 Point underdogs
Pre-Game Note: Another ugly game between two bitter coaches. Especially the nasty one on the Gremlin Sidelines. What a jerk! (Go Jurocks!)

Game Note: With both teams being playoff bound, they were simply playing for respect. Unfortunately the Jurocks were not able to pull off the win as the Gremlins surpassed their underdog status and won the game.
Game Note: For the first time in the PTL two teams will play each other twice in two weeks as the Jurocks and Gremlins play once again next week.
Game Note: AP REPORT "Officials associated with the PTL were quick to deny that the owner of the Gremlins, Chad Evans, was spotted at a local bar binge drinking and singing Karaoke. During a rousing section of "R-E-S-P-E-C-T" Mr. Evans then reportedly passed out and fell on a passer-by injuring the woman severly. Although reports are not conclusive, we do know that the woman was knocked unconcious and taken to a local hospital. Mr. Evan, not knowing his whereabouts due to the binge drinking, went on (when he woke up) singing and dancing the night away. Police were later called in to stop the singing, but by then the damage was done. Charges are pending in both cases. When called to comment about the very important game this Sunday against the Jurocks, the coach drunkingly replied, "BWahaha, R-E-S-P-C-T-Z, dat iz what it be to me, Jurocks, smurocks. Who are dey? *hiccup* Hand me another beer biatch! Listen Mr. Reporter-man, Gremlins don know anyting bout fusball. We just drink and sing! R-E-S-C-D-L-G! dat iz what it be to me." Again, charges are pending.

Pre-Game Note: Brad's Ballers are 6.31 Point Underdogs
Pre-Game Note: Brad's Ballers need to win this game to make it to the post-season. If they lose, they go home.

Game Note: With one fail swoop of the power cord the Lampshades extinguished the hopes of the Ballers' post season hopes.
Game Note: This game's performance put the Lampshades in the #3 spot and in the second playoff bracket against the Goo Crew.

Pre-Game Note: Ballistic Bastards are 0.63 point underdogs
Pre-Game Note: If this wasn't a game of the two bottom feeders it might be a REALLY good game!

Game Note: Bottom Feeders, One note here. The Ballistic Bastards finally broke their losing streak.

Pre-Game Note: The Onyx are 28.19 point underdogs
Pre-Game Note: There are only two scars on the Ranger's record this year. One of these is a loss in week 3 to the Onyx. Look for the Rangers to enact revenge upon that loss in this game.

Game Note: The Rangers have shown other PTL teams that yes, yes they can be beat. This week alone two other teams would have beaten the #1 team.

Pre-Game Note: The Pepperstone Pyros are 10.48 Point Underdogs
Pre-Game Note: This game has been awarded Gora's Smoking Hot Game of the Week Award.
Pre-Game Note: It is as simple as this. The winner goes to the playoffs, the loser goes home. Leon has driven his team to a late-season surge, and the Mud Dogs have struggled in the recent past. If you look at their past games you will notice that they would have traded wins and losses for the past 6 weeks. A very interesting situation, especially for the Mud Dogs, last season's Champions.

Game Note: The Pyros have officially snuck their way into the playoffs elminating the 2003 Champions from contention.
Game Note: The PTL Champion curse has hit the Mud Dogs. Their hope is to get a good draft position in 2005 and hope for a better season. They tried hard at the end, but fell just two spots from the playoffs.

Pre-Game Note: The Ghosts are 5 Point underdogs
Pre-Game Note: There is a slight chance that even with a loss one of these teams might make it to the playoffs. As long as the HP Lampshades beat Brad's Ballers both of these teams have high enough points to make it to the next round.

Game Note: Since Brad's Ballers lost to the Lampshades, both these teams have made it to the Playoffs. The Ghosts will play #1 Rangers, and the Crew will play #3 Lampshades.
Game Note: The Crew has proven that they are force to be reckoned with. The score of 162 is officially the #4 ranked scored in the PTL Hall of Fame,
