Above is to CLINCH playoffs. There is still only a two game lead for the league's top teams. For example, if the Lampshades were to lose the next three games in a row, they would be out of the playoffs. It's still a VERY tight race to the finish, 12 teams are still one game away from being in the top 8!

Week 9

Week 8 really threw a wrench into the system. The North Division was through into chaos at the top when Your Daddy lost to the very tough Raleigh Lightning. A win by the Mtnears in the South Division pushed them one game away from being in the top 8. We were also witness to The Culture Club's first win of the season! Congratulations Clubbers!

Another interesting note to mention is that the Top 10 of the PTL won 8 games. Only two of the top 10 fell to another team. And those two that lost, lost to other Top 10 Teams!

With 6 weeks left the playoff picture is starting to get very clear. With only two games dividing the line between those that are top in the league to being totally out of the race, it's still anyone's ball game. It's going to be an amazing race to the finish!

With Week 9 Coming up, every single team is now playing a division game. The true test of strength for the North and South should really come out this week. Here are a few of the GREAT matchups!

Mud Dogs vs. Leviathans - The top two teams in the South Face off with less than a Touchdown score spread between the two. A loss by the Leviathans here might push the team past the #8 spot, a very dangerous position to be in. A win by either team will more than likely put them in the top 4 of the league.
PTL PREDICTS - LEVIATHAN WIN

HP Lampshades vs. Your Daddy - The #1 Team and the #3 Team in the league face off in game that earned Gora's Smokin' Hot Game of the week. Both teams score HUGE and it looks to be an incredibly close match-up. You can be sure that at least one other team, notibly the Lightning are going to be following this one very close. A loss by the Lampshades would put them in sole possession of first place.
PTL PREDICTS - HP LAMPSHADES WIN

Mtnears vs. Jurocks - The Mtnears seem to be having a very hard time finding ways to win games. With 852 points they should be in the top 4. The Jurocks, on the other hand, can't seem to find a rhythm. Scoring in triple digits in three out of eight weeks this season. The Dino's really need a win here, but they are facing a very tough / high scoring opponent. A win by the Mtnears would put them in one of the lower Playoff spots.
