Mad Max is a 0.66 Point Underdog

- Mad Max was able to beat back the surging Inferno and overcome the underdog status with a win. This North Division match-up squelched the Inferno's winning streak since 2004 and helped put the Max' back on the PTL map
The Appalachian Recap: Max Mad vs. The Inferno Well an usually, a game that is suppose to be a close game, turned out to be a 21 point spread. Another record that was broken was that this was the team first time to have over 100 points in a game, 107.35 to be exact. When talking to head coach Maxtan Artis of the Mad Maxers, he said, "This was a great win for us. With us being an expansion team, we needed a win to make sure that everyone knew that we are still here and to know we are here to play. We also needed this win so that we would not have two losses to start the season. Also, The Inferno played a great game, but it was our time. I would like to thank Brett Favre for having a great game, and also Darnell Dockett, because the team seemed to have a few no shows and I made a few bad decisions on who should play. Hopefully I will learn will with my team, and we will win more games. On another note, I would like to say that I'm glad that I'm not playing Tempered Onyx last week because they whopped some butt. I don't know what got in McNabb, but I wish he could give my players and me some of that stuff." As you saw in the recap, Coach Artis was right because Ashley Lelie didn't show up to play along with Peter Warrick, but Brett Farve had a great game along with Nathan Vasher, the second year guy. Well this team is going to be a team to look out for the rest of the season. Go Mad Max.

The Culture Club is a 47.37 Point Underdog

-The Culture Club's Chicago Defense was able to post 35 points, enough to tie for the #1 DEF team of all time.
-The Jurocks were barely able to escape their second South Division opponent as they sneaked by the Culture Club. Unfortunately they C.C's did not recognize that they only had 6 defensive players in the game. It is almost certain that if those players had been in, the Jurocks would've been off to their worst start since joining the PTL.

The Leviathans are a 16.29 Point Underdog

- The Tempered Onyx's Donovan McNabb put up the numbers to raise him to the #4 Fantasy QB of all time in the PTL Hall of Fame
-The Leviathans didn't have a chance, as their poor defensive showing wasn't able to even slow down the red-hot, or is it black-hot Onyx.
-Leviathans earned #1 Def Player for Week 2
-Onyx earned #1 Offense for Week 2

Reality Check

After celebrating a first-week victory in its inaugural season in PTL, the Leviathans suffered a stunning defeat at the hands of a powerful Tempered Onyx squad. Mediocrity marked the performance of the Leviathan bench on both sides of the ball. “I’m disappointed in our work ethic,” coach Andy Atkins said on Wednesday. “Eli [Manning] made some good plays, but he also made a lot of mistakes. They wound up being costly.” The bright spot in the Leviathans roster as always was the kicking team. Jay Feely’s performance was superior, earning key points where they counted. The Leviathans are favored to beat the Culture Club in Week 3, but it will take a better effort than the team gave in Week 2.

Kryptonite is a 48.29 Point Underdog

-In a game that was closer than expected, the Kryptonite was able to keep it close to the end. Unfortunately for the men in green, the Jagermeister defense was just too difficult to overcome.
-Kryptonite earned #1 WR for Week 2

The Barenjagers are a 32.83 Point Underdog
-After declaring to the league that they were "crappy", the barejagers were able to really put together a good effort against the PT Bruisers, who, despit losing in Week 1, was able to post consecutive 100+ point games.
-PT Bruisers earned #1 K for Week 2

The Goo Crew are an 8.79 Point Underdog
-A usually strong team, the Goo Crew is definitely showing signs of a slow down. Coach Andrew is quicly becoming a bottom feeder in the very tough PTL playoff race.

The Mud Dogs are a 14.05 Point Underdog
-The Underdog status almost fit the Mud Dogs perfectly, except they won. After hitting the waiver wire more than 20 times, the Mud Dogs revamped their team with an abandon not seen in the PTL for several years. Picking up a solid RB like Stephen Davis helped this team show that they are ones to be reckoned with come the playoff race.
