Week 10 really mixed things up and the playoff picture has begun to really take shape. But before we automatically think that the top 8 is going to basically stay the same, we need to look at the next four games.

The Lampshades have a good chance at winning that one game to clinch their spot, but out of the four remaining, they face the Raliegh Lightning, Onyx, & PT Bruisers. All, as of now, playoff teams. They will be very lucky indeed if they can win all four.

The Raleigh Lighntning also have a very tough remaining schedule. They play the Lampshades, Onyx and PT Bruisers. Again, a top four team that might find it hard to find that one game to clinch.

The Leviathans have a bit of an eaiser time as the only "tough" opponents they face are Your Daddy, and the surging Inferno. They still need two games to clinch, so we can expect them to stay at the top and perhaps overtake the top two teams and into the #1 spot.

The Jagermeisters are new to the top four, but if their recent scores have been any indication of how tough a team they are, then others beware. But before we drink to the drunkards, we need to look at their incredibly hard remaining opponents. They face the Mud Dogs, The Mtnears, & The Inferno. The Mud Dogs & Mtnears will give them a run for their money, and the Inferno looks to continue their drive for a postseason. Of the top four the Jager's will have a hard time keeping up with the Jones'.

RECORD SMASHER
Congrats to the Leviathans' DEF & M. Peterson.
M. Peterson was the Def Player of the Week & made it to 3rd all time player in the PTL Hall of Fame.
The DEF not only made the top DEF team of the week, but broke the all time record in the PTL Hall of Fame.

OTHER RECORDS TO NOTE
Raleigh Lightning is climbing the PTL Hall of Fame Ladder for their current win streak
HP Lampshades now have the weekly Offense Award for the third consecutive week
The PT Riptides earned the #1 Kicker award for the Week & the score was high enough to become #4 all time in the PTL Hall of Fame. The Kicker was approx. 41% of their entire score & the team hasn't won a weekly award since Week 1.

Carolina Mud Dogs vs. Jagermeisters.
As we mentioned before, the Mud Dogs are one of the many strong opponents left on the Jagermeister's schedule. Although the Dogs started the season a little on the rocky side, they would've beaten the Drunk Red & Whites 4 out of the past 5 games. Payton Manning seems to be driving the Jager bus, while a whole list of dependable characters seem to be helping the Dogs. So, in week 11, it will boil down to star players and who they are playing. Unfortunately for the Jagermeisters, their stars seem to be having one tough week. Watch the dogs chase these drunks out of town.

Tempered Onyx vs. Raleigh Lightning
As the Onyx teeter precariously near the edge of the top 8, they now face a few of their final TOUGH opponents. First up, the Raleigh Lightning. Unfortunately for the coach (seen below in hidden camera), the Onyx would've lost 8 of the last 10 games against the Lightning. They are almost unstoppable. Watch to see Corny and his rag-tag band of Onyx' get a big shock as the lightning win and push them out of the top 8.
PTL Prediction - RALIEGH LIGHTNING WIN

The Inferno vs. Jurocks
Both teams are not doing very well in 2005. Last year both teams were also struggling to make it to the playoffs. In the end, one lost in the first round, the other became the cinderella story of the year, beating superior team after superior team on their way to the PTL Superbowl. This year it's almost the same story. The Jurocks need a few other teams to win/lose in order to break the top 8. The Inferno needs to stay on fire in order to have a chance. Both teams, espeically the inferno absolutely needs this win. But, like in the game of beer pigs, only one will win (and the rest of us will laugh at the other). The game will be a very close one, with opinions going either way. Watch to see, in a very close match.... The Jurocks will win.
