Preseason Projections show the following
Leviathans 50.43 point underdogs

The preseason projections lied as the Jurocks fell to the Leviathans in the South Division opener.
-Said Coach Vegter of the Jurocks, "Though we might've been beaten down this week, we will come back in the next, and in the next after that! The first week means nothing, the team will come together, the offense is bound to score a touchdown eventually.. It's going to happen, and when it does... it'll be special"
- Opening the season the Jurocks were seen as one of the "elite" teams. PTL News can only speculate that the coach will be able to pull his team together and find a way to win. They have yet to NOT make the playoffs, and after increasing the amount of teams in the leage, it's going to be THAT much harder to reach the playoffs

PT Bruisers 29.21 point underdogs

- In the monsterous showdown the Jagermeisters barely held off the Bruisers as both teams surged in points. The Bruisers would have been able to beat any other team in the league, but were unable to top the Meisters.
-Top Story: Jagermeisters Win Season Openner!! Solid drafting by team owner and head coach Chad Evans gave the Jagermeisters their first win in the PTL this season. "I couldn't be happier about this team's performance. The Brusers were a tough team, no doubt about it, but a strong showing by Westbrook put us over the top for the "W." Says Coach Evans. Looking ahead to next week, the Jagermeisters take on another strong team under the arm of Tom Brady, and lead by a very knowledgable coach, Billy Asis. "We've just got to put our best foot forward, and not trip over it." Evans says. "Manning has got to step it up in the first half if we're going to get a good start and leave the mexican in the dust." Jack Daniels - Alleghany News Sports

WEEK 1 Analysis

The North Division brought their A-Game as all but one game was won by the North squad. Only two teams emerged victorious from the South as the Jagermeisters and Leviathans pushed their way to the top of the heap. Divisional scoring averages have now-swip-swapped as the North had an average of 10 points higher than the South. An interesting observation might be made that at the start of the season every coach was hoping to get a few games in where their score would be in triple digits. In week 1, 5 teams, or 25% of coaches were able to achieve that mark.
