More
tid-bits about the end of Week 5& Coming into Week
6!
1. This
week, the North averaged 76.7points (still down more
than 11.6 points from their week 3 high), compared to
the South's 91.25 (down only about 2 points).
2. The
South Division is still looking
like the division to beat with a total score of 6288.45
a full 563.45 points higher (and growing) than the North's
5725.00. The South gained more than 200 points alone
in week 5!
3. The
record between the two leagues in the Ghost Games is
North 11
- South
11
4. Even
though the North is falling behind in the points, they
are finding ways to keep up. They took a 3 to 2 game
edge over the South in the Ghost Games of week 5.
5. A
few of you guys mentioned that you'd like me to keep
track of my record of picking the Ugly Games & Upsets
of the week. I thought I'd keep a little journal here
for you. And NO... don't consider my pick for you to
win to be a curse!

6. 6
out of the possible 17 games the underdog beat the favored
team.
7. Two
are still left... Mtnears & PT
Bruisers are still the last two unbeaten teams in the
PTL. Week 6 is going to be a big test for both these
teams as the Mtnears are actually an underdog going
into their game, and the Bruisers are playing a newly
revitalized All-Clarance Team..
8. Congrats
to the All-Clarance Team for a. not only beating the
massively favorites Pappy's Crew, but b. stopping their
fall into the depths of the PTL record book. On the
other hand, the Revolution continues to lose and is
now tied for #3 in the all time worst starts in PTL
History.
11. If
you are looking to help here is what I need
A. Someone to look through the games each week and pull
out the individual weekly award winners
B. Someone to take a look at the upcoming week's games
and, if there is something interesting to note, do a
write up
C. Someone to check to see if any Hall of Fame Records
are broken each week
D. General articles about the PTL, interesting
tidbits, fun stories. |
