The first
week of PTL football has come and gone. With only one
glitch in the scoring system (sorry Swingline) the week
went by fairly smoothly. Please remember if there is
anything you would like to change for the PTL next year
plan on attending the award's dinner in January. Anything
is negotiable, we just need to hear it and vote as a
group.
As I
went through the data several interesting things came
about.
1. With
the same pool of players to pull from the North and
South Division had totally different averages. The North,
in week 1, averaged 77 points, compared to the South's
89.5
2. The
South Division is looking like the division to beat
with a total score of 1240 a full 161.9 points higher
than the North's 1078.1
3. The
record between the two leagues in the Ghost Games is
2-2
4. Three
Hall of Fame Records were broken in Week 1!
5. The
South Division has 12 Teams above even the Hardest Schedule
in the North.
6. The
game between Hanso FC and The Lone Rangers is shaping
up to be one of the closest races ever. With a spread
of only 0.62 points it's going to be interesting to
see who pulls it out
7. If
you are looking to help here is what I need
A. Someone to look through the games each week and pull
out the individual weekly award winners
B. Someone to take a look at the upcoming week's games
and, if there is something interesting to note, do a
write up
C. Someone to check to see if any Hall of Fame Records
are broken each week
D. General articles about the PTL, interesting tidbits,
fun stories. |
