Consistency
is key in the PTL and Chad' Jagers have it. With
8 of 10 games played this year in triple digits
he's come up big when it counts. Could the Chad-ster
come up with an unprecendented repeat this year? |

Move
over Gotter... The Dragonkin are the best team
in the North Division. Two of their three losses
came back to back in week 2, but they've kept
improving on their game. The recent loss to #1
Gotter is only a fluke... You'll see AD in the
finals this year. |

|
Coming
in close behind AD, you've got yet another upstart
team that's making waves in a very competitive
North Division. Although not as strong point-wise
as others, they seem to have the luck that counts
in this type of playoff set up, not to mention
the first official Yahoo Playoff qualifier. |

Yeah
yeah yeah... all of you are screaming "biased!".
But take a look at what the Jurocks have done
this year... They were one of the few teams that
was able to take down the Jagers in an absolute
scoring fest and have started steamrolling points
these past few weeks. With roster players such
as Derek Anderson, Terrell Owens, Plexico Burres,
Brian Westbrook, and Adrian Peterson the points
seem to pour out the dino's mouths. |

PC
seems to always have good teams, this year is
no exception. With a fairly easy schedule left
to complete the season he's looking at a good
seed in the North as well as several more wins
before the playoffs. The one bothering fact, however,
is that the RL have not been able to score over
100 points three weeks in a row... |

Last
year the Bruisers hurt... hurt others that is.
This year the power they seemed to have in the
past has all but fallen off the purple & green.
No longer scoring consistently over 140 points
they are still scoring fairly well. The only two
losses so far this year have been to future playoff
contenders Raleigh Lightning & Apex Dragonkin,
so the team isn't suffering too badly. |

The
two "dog" teams in the South seem to
go back and forth every week, but the Mad Dogs
have the slightest of edges. Their only two losses
came from big names such as Jagermeisters and
Jurocks... Two historically good teams. But the
thing that impresses me the most about the Mad
Dogs is that they have the leagues second lowest
waiver wires moves among active managers... pretty
impressive in an ultra competitive Southern division. |

Dan
is always in the playoff hunt. Since his PTL Championship
win of 2003, he's been a great manager since.
With the Souther League's second highest Waiver
Wire moves he's been able to build a team from
start to finish that will keep him in contention. |

There
are a TON of good Southern Division teams this
year, and each one seems to beat up on the other.
The Samurai could quite possibly be the BEST team
in the South... however luck is definitely not
on their side. A loss in week 1 is excusable,
but earning only 44.25 points in their last game
against a dead team is hard to swallow. |

The
Mtnears are yet another Southern Team that look
great coming into the year. They have been able
to score over 100 points several weeks, but haven't
been able to consistently do it over the span
of the season. |

Could
this be another year for the underdog? The Inferno
taught us never to look down at an 8 seed in the
past, do they have another lesson for us? Holding
tight to the last playoff spot in the North we
have the seemingly unlucky Leon's pulling from
behind. With a very easy schedule to end the year
they are going to be hard to knock out until we
get down to the nitty gritty playoffs. |

It's
kind of funny to see 3 of the top muddled middle
teams from the same Fraternal Family. |
13. |
|
The
HP Lampshades & the Onyx are about on the
same page. Neither has a really good team, but
then their team isn't very bad either. Neither
one would cause too much concern to go up against
in the first round of the playoffs. |

Somehow
the warriors have put together a rag-tag team
and found a way to win in the North. Many of their
players are not star-rated, however their averages
make up for any upsets. |
15. |
|
Five
wins in a row, and more than likely 2 more...
Then they have the Bruisers and Lightning... They
shouldn't have a hard time getting a good spot
in the playoffs, but we'll have to check back
later. |
16. |
|
The
secret started the year off with a bang, but injuries
have since decimated their point-scoring abilities.
Could they find a way back into the mix? |
17. |
|
Looks
like Jamie has given up on his Lone Rangers...
It's too bad, with a fairly good team, and a fairly
easy schedule left there is a slight opening in
the 8th spot for the rangers to trip into . |

|
It
always seems that this time of year Andrew's Goo
Crew is on the cusp of getting a bid in the playoffs.
But alas, poor points will doom the crew to another
year of mediocrity. |
19. |
|
I
hate counting Mark out of anything, but it looks
like game over for the Killers in 2007. Three
of the top North Division teams stand in his way
to claim a ticket to the playoffs. |
20. |
|
Down
in points and down in wins it'll be hard for the
Chup's to make it back into the hunt. With two
hard games against league leaders Jurocks &
Jagermeisters to go it'll make it even harder. |
21. |
|
Yikes,
only two games away from qualifying and you're
gonna get steamrolled by several top tier teams...
Ouch. |
