The
first thing I did was look at the starting rosters for all teams
on August 10, 2003. I took all offensive players as well as the
defensive team. (Individual defensive players were too hard to
find rankings). After listing each starting team, I then took
QB, RB, WR, WR, (RB/WR), TE, K, Def and put in their average stats.
(Such as a QB usually gets around 20 points per game). This would
give be a % of what each player would contribute to the team.
(The reason I did this is because a kicker obviously does not
contribute as much as a QB). I then found the rankings of each
of those players based on the ESPN pre-season poll. Once those
numbers were found and multiplied by the % it gave a good number
of what those players could contribute. The best team would have
the lowest score out of all the teams. (People ranked higher would
help a teams score in the end). If you have any questions please
email soneji16@hotmail.com and I'll try to decode this better
for you. Below are the numbers I used as the averages for the
players. If you think those numbers are wrong please get a hold
of me and I'll start averaging people's numbers. |
