THE FINAL TOP 4
1.
There have been several teams to challenge the Bruisers lately, and they do seem a bit shakey, but with the best record in the PTL, they're still going to be tough in the playoffs.
2.
The Jagers might sit atop their perch now, but they are facing one of the toughest teams yet in the playoffs. But it still doesn't diminish the fact that the Jagers have the South's 3rd hardest schedule, and still came out at the #1 spot.
3(+2)
As much as Mark's teams were beat in the past, his 2006 Mosul team has not only been kilin' their way through the competition, they're on their way to the postseason. Inexperience here might hurt, but it seems to me that his team is one of the best in the league.
4.(+2)
The Lampshades are still climbing the ladder of the South. Even with a loss in week 14, they have the 2nd highest overall score in all of the South Division. If they can get L.T. to continue to do their dirty work, they're keep the wins coming.
The Second Tier

5(+2)
Ye-ouch. The Muddogs faced a hard fighting Jagermeister team in Week 14 and came out bleeding. Neither team did really well, but the Dogs faired the worst. The loss, however, might be a blessing in disguise as the jagers now must face a hard-charging Levithans.
6(-3)
Hoy has made the postseason. With the end in doubt all he had to do was win, and win he did. Now he'll take his powerful offense and try to pull off a few likely upsets as the playoff weeks roll by.
7.(+5)
The Inferno's easy North Division schedule still netted them 4 losses. One would think that they could have done a little better than that, but they are showing that the #2 team in the North is still very much legit.
8.
Have the Jurocks found their marching feet? With another score in the mid-100's, they needed a big win to gain back momentum for the post-season. Sitting at the #2 spot, they have a fairly easy playoff path to the Superbowl.
9.(-2)
The Lone Rangers have quietly picked up 9 wins in the north and 4 wins against the South. They haven't done it with much flair, but they've done it non-the-less. With having the North's hardest schedule, this makes this feat quite significant.
10(-1)
If the Crew can find a consistent score, they'd be able to stomp the competition. Having the second highest score in the league might give them the needed boost to try to take on fellow North Division Rival PT Bruisers.
The Muddled Middle

11.(-1)
With another inconsisten win the Club pushed their way to the #3 spot in the rankings. This team has been all over the charts this year, depending on their draft-chicago strategy, if they don't do well, the club doens't do well.
12.(+4)
Hanso FC won the biggest game of their short-PTL lives this week. They beat the Malibu team in what was really their very first playoff game.
13.(+4)

Three teams were fighting for the 7 and 8 spot in the north. With a record of 7 and 7, the Sabers were the first team in after having several weeks with high scores.

14. (+4)

Can we say Cinderella?

The Leviathans have been in the playoffs for the past 2 weeks. One loss and they would've dropped out of the race. Instead of packing their bags, they stepped it up and put their all in the game. Now, at the #8 spot, they challenge the South's #1 team, the Jagermeisters. This should be a great game.

15.(-2)
With losses the past 3 weeks the Crusaders have fallen like a rock. Now they play the hard-nosed PT Bruisers in the first week of the playoffs. Unless there is some sort of miracle, it looks to be almost a bye week for their opponent..
16.(+3)
The Only reason I put the Dukes this high in the line-up is due to the fact that they have made the playoffs. They've won enough games to put them at the 7th Spot in the South. Should they be there? We don't think so, but we'll see if they're able to wake up for the postseason.
17.(-6)
Now we go to the teams that weren't able to make it. The Lightning has a great team, they just weren't able to win the close ones. Without a monster scoring team, they quickly fell down into the lower ranks. They tried their best, but ultimately they'll be looking forward to 2007.
18.(-3)
The Malibu team was one win away from the post-season. It was just that close!
19.(-5)
The Maxers had a great start to the 2006 season, but a long string of losses in the second half of the season killed their hopes at the postseason.
20.(+2)
Even Dallas wasn't able to score enough points to help the Bashers out.
21.
Yet another year where the previous champion has to sit out the postseason. Looks like you're gonna have to give up that beautiful trophy Keith!
22.(-2)
Andrew, thanks for the Thank You Card. Got it in the mail yesterday!
